Bathroom Sinks

Bathroom sinks, or lavatories, offer the greatest opportunity
for personal expression of all plumbing fixtures. There are two
different types of bathroom sinks; pedestal sinks (sinks without
cabinet) and sinks with cabinets. Cabinet sinks can be installed on
top of countertops, propped into the counter or under mounted below
the countertop.
Bathroom sinks can come in different types of material. Generally,
sinks can be made from stone, marble, vitreous china, enameled cast
iron, fireclay, glass, copper, and stainless steal. Special custom
sinks are also available. The material you choose will depend
greatly on the overall appearance you are looking for. In addition,
bathroom sinks are available in an infinite range of colors,
patterns, styles, designs, heights, depths, and widths.
Sinks are available in a variety of sizes and configurations. You
can pick between a sink with one bowl or two bowls. They also come
with deep or shallow bowls, straight or sloped sidewalls, offset
drains, under-counter mounts, tile edging, or self-rimming. You can
choose for your sink to be any color of the rainbow. In addition,
they will fit a variety of faucet styles, but keep in mind that no
sink will accommodate all faucets.
