Misting Systems

Misting systems are a wonderful way for homeowners to lower outdoor
temperatures up to 40 degrees, boost comfort levels for all outdoor
environments, and provide air filtration. In addition, misting can
also be used for humidification, frost defense, dust management,
odor elimination, and fire and smoke control.
The system works by incorporating a high pressure pump and a spray
nozzle designed to produce water droplets smaller than the diameter
of a human hair. The mist produced is so fine that it instantly
evaporates, creating a cooling effect. Misting systems are commonly
used for residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial
applications.
The placement of misting systems is extremely important. For cooling
effects, you must measure all open sides of the area to be cooled.
For patios, measure the three open sides. For optimal performance,
nozzles should be placed in groups of 3-5. During the process of
proper placement, you will begin to realize that misting systems
also serve as a special effects mechanism.
